International Style of Farmer Painting

As a messenger of cultural exchange, Shaanxi farmer paintings have been exhibited in more than 70 countries and regions worldwide over the past six decades. Many overseas Chinese and international friends love and speak highly of these paintings.

In particular, since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shaanxi farmer paintings have undertaken an important role in ‘telling the China Story and telling the Shaanxi story’ well. Successively adopted various ways to communicate in Britain, the United States, New Zealand, Germany, Australia, Canada, France, and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and other regions, and established overseas cooperative bases for farmer painting exhibition and communication. In 2020, the anti-pandemic themed paintings by Shaanxi farmers were translated into six languages and disseminated globally, publicizing China’s anti-pandemic experience, spreading Chinese love, and contributing to the dissemination of Chinese traditional culture.
